But when you come across something like Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers all rules go out the window. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have that sort of time?

Internet Explorer 8
Just when you thought it was safe to go back onto the web, they’ve gone and released version 8 of the bloody thing. Just this week we had completed a site for a client, tested it in the usual fashion on Firefox, Safari (Mac and PC), Opera Mini for mobiles, Internet Explorer 6 and then, lo and behold, we had to practically rebuild the whole thing to get it to function in Internet Explorer 7.
To the layman it might seem that the number 7 is higher than six and would suggest that a program numbered 7 would be a little better than 6. Well 6 was a horror show, 7 is little better and 8 is coming to completely finish off the raw ends of our nerves.
Microsoft, you’ve got a lot to answer for…
Everyone on the earth should switch to Firefox. Seriously. The sanitoriums won’t be able to cater for all of the web designers that need a ‘break’ if you don’t.

Shhhh! Secret projects….
So we’re not actually sure if anyone’s reading our blog yet (yes we should check the stats) but for the sake of gossiping let’s pretend we don’t know how to do that.
We’ve got three secret projects on the go, two of which we’re going to tell you about and the other we’re not. Ha!
The first is Multi Media Mart, Northern Ireland’s first multimedia trade show that will be held at the Outlet Building in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter on 31st July 2008. More to come on that soon…
And the second is Webhoker, a custom search engine for all things Northern Ireland. It’s up there in Beta form if you want to have a look and play around at www.webhoker.com
If you’ve bothered to find us we thank you. Keep reading , it might just get interesting around here soon…
