Well not quite, lobsters actually.

“Now I’m not going to say that there’s no money in lobsters, there is…” Chris said with such authority that it magically appeared on this here blog. This was in reference to a relayed story about the Russian mafia and lobster potting off the coast of Bangor.

When we find the gas leak, we’ll let you know.

Sorry about the lack of attention to the blog, we’ve been lost in EPOS land, a land of barcodes, databases, scanners and sillyness. Also we fell victim to a simply wonderful SQL injection attack which rendered over 10,000 websites inoperable in a matter of days. (Probably) more to come on that.

Anyway so we’re back and the news that has dragged us back in that Belfast, our lucious home, has just been rebranded. Now the logistics of actually branding, never mind rebranding, a city are as lost on us as they would be on anyone else but hey, let’s just see what they do with it all.

The assumption we’re making is that all manner of stuff with the new Belfast B will be appearing around the place in the coming months. And with that in mind, it’s probably not exactly the best idea in the world ever to post up the new designs, and accompanying fonts, free to download on the web but you’ve got to adore the democracy at work there if nothing else.

Belfast City Council you have thrown down the gauntlet and (so far) this is our best reply…
